After that, I highlighted the main disadvantages of the structure of the open differential and described the mechanism that can correct its shortcomings. Namely Limited Slip Differential. I described in great detail its structure and principle of action, as well as its functions. He went very deep into the mechanics of building a Limited Slip Differential and explained the function of each part and how it differs from a regular differential. I also highlighted the pros and cons of the Limited Slip Differential, explaining why this is so and why its pros justify the cons. After that, I briefly described the types of open differential locks and explained what exactly is locked in it. And also at the very end, I clearly showed how the turning radius of a car with an unlocked differential differs from a locked one, the difference was huge.
