Wow! Gives a new meaning to the phrase "crystal clear!" You wouldn't even be able to see some of those if you dropped them in water.

I find much smaller ones ne’er my house growing in clusters or just by them selves near a rumored abandoned black silver mine. I think I’ll try digging now instead of ruffling through the leaves

Thank you for posting these videos there so amazing! My boyfriend and I have been inspired and have been researching crystal digging and rock hounding. What I’m wondering is how you choose to dig where you dig? Good luck in all you’re future digs! And may you get many crystals 🔮

Your boyfriend and yourself should visit Arkansas if you want some nice clear quartz crystals. Mt. Ida Arkansas is the quartz capital of the world. You won't be disappointed.

I found a big patch of these in Australia once in the middle of a paddock just out of Geraldton in a place called tardun, they had beautiful rutile in some of them and some were clear, some were brown and some red, it was the highlight of my fossicking adventures, I felt like I had finally made it😁

Any and all advice on how you go about avoiding snakes and other deadly nature would be very helpful! There's the obvious common sense stuff, ofcourse, but if you have any advice on den spotting and things to be aware of that would be awesome!
@bretthess6376
4 жыл бұрын
Obvious common sense stuff is a solid start. Watch where you step, where you put your hands, and where you sit down. Don't reach up onto rock ledges you can't see. Be watchful when turning anything over or when reaching into holes. Also snakes stink pretty bad. If you detect a strong musky odor in an area, leave it alone. I used to live in an area infested with poisonous snakes and never got bitten. Oh,and be very careful around water. Snakes drink water too. If there are c. 2" holes in the ground near the water's edge, avoid the area. Those are water moccasin holes. Be careful pulling up clumps of grass or weeds, or piles of leaves on the ground.. Be careful picking up firewood from piles. Remember them snakes don't want nothing to do with you. Avoid them and they will avoid you.

I’m a fellow Californian. On the one hand love all of the stones and crystals you find, and I’m a little jealous. On the other hand, you guys go to a lot of trouble to get out to the remote locations you visit. You risk rattlesnakes and other bitey things. Your hands are calloused and you probably go home bruised and sore and bug bitten. You work hard to find them, and then you make them into beautiful jewelry. I’m not at all jealous of that! Keep up the great work!

Very nice, im in Shasta area and I go to orgon for agates and chalcedony, never found any real good quartz/points anywhere yet. I may be heading down to the bottom of Cali and through the desert this summer to see some sites and just look around; are you alright with giving the location of the area you found? Im not a horder, nor do I sell anything, I like to find and collect and give some to kids in the family that like crystals too. Let me know, thank you. Love Chris

1:28 Absolutely stunning! You are so blessed to find such amazing creations!! ^_^ There is next to nothing as nice as this to be found here in Wisconsin! What few specimens can be found here, it's illegal to collect them thanks to the DNR and the lack of BLM-managed land. Everything good has either been shut down (Wausau moonstone, Vulcan Quarry calcite) or is on National Forest DNR-controlled land (Quartz Hill, Animikie Red Ace Pegmatite, etc.) T_T Your videos inexpressibly uplift the soul of this opportunity-starved mineral-enthusiast! Thank you so much!!

Beautiful Crystal's! But please, be careful! There's a lot of alpha and beta predator action there! Keep a few bear bangers and several cans of pepper spray with you! Guns basically miss a lot when people get frightened and they only piss of a grizzly and coyotes are hard to figure out. Be careful!
