I just got a porcelain sign that I'm told was under a sidewalk in Chinatown. "We Sell Dairymens Velvet Ice Cream" with a sundae pictured. Teens or '20s. That was the main Dairy in Honolulu, and they operated on outer Islands. I dug a Star hutch and found the only known Star syphon. It was broken when thrown out in 1910. It is footed and the entire etched design was undamaged. I glued it together 80% and a "Top collector" called me and I made a trade, Lihue Ice Hutch and a Hobron Drug. I was in tight quarters and felt edgy with thick broken glass. I reassembled it with some type of tube cement, now I use Elmer's. I have my own whole footed siphons now, top ones. I'm in the process of building my own case for them, and my hobby books. I found a 19x45" door of handmade plate glass, from an old commercial cabinet?. That will be for the display part on top of a cabinet for mags & books. All my mainland shows got cancelled this year, will our Summer one make it?

Hello, a job well done on that dig! I really enjoyed watching this and that sign is awesome. A collector that will buy that from you might restore the letter "C" in crahkcase. There are ways of restoring minor damage on signs like that. All of those Whitehouse related bottles and 30's bottle are a nice art-decor type and the one with the spout is even better. If you were not so far away I would be meeting you somewhere to look through your bottles to buy. That green vase type bottle was so beautiful and I think is the best bottle find of that dig. That ROOT MASON is the second place one and is rare. I don't have any in my collection and my son Lewis doesn't either. All we find digging is Ball, GEM, Lightning, Anchor, Mason's Improved, stuff like that anyway. I'M looking forward to seeing more of your bottle digging videos. I have my own channel and i;m Jeffrey Hull jr on you tube. My son Lewis and I are on there a lot together digging in dumps for old bottles. Feel free to subscribe if you want to. Take care and Happy Hunting to you. Sincerely,--- Jeffrey Hull jr. (JEFF)

That porcelain sign is in pretty good shape actually, great find. I've uncovered some signs that are roached beyond repair, nothing nearly as good as you dug. Plus, I'd take that embossed designed emerald green bottle all day long. I have never seen one quite it.

Just for S&G's the post office reference I access lists 30 La Grange offices in the US and 20 Lagrange offices (most of which were the same place). This is both operating and historical.
