I was basically just hoping yeah. I did some research of other areas around here and this was the best for the water table. I can't get into this channel any longer. I started another one Windy Yucca Homestead come check it out . I'm going to do an update on the well.

I'd like to see you try that up in the Coconino Aquifer by St Johns. If you could offer a simple solution, that is affordable, you'd do very well. People up there pay 30-40 grand for a well, thus no one can afford to build. You drill through rock and sandstone.

I'd like to see how it was done back in the day, like the cullings well West of wickenburg, they dug one 200ft down and found nothing, then another one next to it and found some.. with tnt it would be no different than sinking a shaft into the rock, but ...

Just purchased 5 acres down in Cochise county, plan on diy'ing our well. I heard in your update that you dug the first 25 feet with an auger, I'm really curious about your method in total. Looks like you did a great job, how much did it end up costing you in the end?

VintageRider88 All the stuff I needed to dig and plumb the well cost about $550 - $600. I'll do a video on the auger part of the dig maybe next week.

That's great to hear. I'm very interested in the auger part. We'll be down there in about a year, out near East Calle Luna.

Hey Jim, I'd love to ask you a few questions about permits and what not out in Cochise county. I'm moving out there myself but like you can't afford 10k, so I'm curious about legality. Are we exempt from having a liscensed contractor do the drilling if we DIY? Did you just go ahead and just do it without filing an application? We're contemplating just digging a well for our garden, but don't want to get in trouble in case it's not allowed.

I did some water dowsing with two brass rods and got a reading there and did some reading on how water flows underground. We're still pumping out of it produces plenty of water for normal daily use.

Notice of Intent to Drill must be filed with ADWR. Is this not correct.
@acroduster
3 жыл бұрын
Oh its correct. When somone notices his self incriminating videos he has posted things could get pretty sucky for him. There is a section for exempt wells in az. But the scope of their use is very limited! I cant believe anybody in any county of north america would post a video of themselves violating or pushing even the limits at all with regard to septic systems or wells. Ticking timebomb once uploaded.
@fortwoods
2 жыл бұрын
@@acroduster Yeah that is what I thought. Notice of Intent to Drill needs to be done but you also need to be licensed to drill in AZ. You can pass an examination though that gives you a license to drill a single well on your own property.

@@Nfjfjfjfnffjjfjffj I suppose you could, but it's a criminal act so you run the risk of going to jail. It's easy enough to apply for a permit and take the test so you can legally drill your own.
