Thank you very much! Yes it was great taste but it was not easy clamming for kids. Great experience for Sosuke!

Awesome. Next time you guys should do some surf perch fishing too with the razor clamming, thats my ritual for each trip, fish a few hours and then clam or vise versa. You dont have to cast super far either, when the bite is good and surf is sub 5' swells, Ive had them hit in waist deep water like 20 feet in front of me. Maybe wear a life jacket just to be safe or tie a rope between you and your son.

Great idea! Thank you. Yes we saw some people fishing in surf but we don't have any knowledge so not sure what they were catching. We will definitely try it next time!

@@SosukeandSeijisoutdoorad-oc3cp Heck yeah. Do it. Most use a high low rig with size 4 or 6 hooks and heavy pyramid sinker. I like to go really simple and light, just a carolina rig, 1oz egg sinker to a 4 or 6 hook. Just cast out, let it sit and roll around in the surf, if no bites in like a minute reel in a few turns and repeat until it gets back to you. When they bite, its like rapid taps and set the hook. Bait is just the artificial gulp sandworms, shrimp, razor clam necks, squid, and sandshrimp. Thats the useful part to the high low rig, you can do the same with different baits.
