From my VHS recordings, here are the bumpers and promos from episodes of "Digimon" on "Fox Family" in the Summer of 2000. Specifically, these are from the "Made in Japan" programming block that aired on Sundays (so if you missed the newest episode on "Fox Kids" on Saturdays, you could usually catch it on Sundays on "Fox Family").
I spent the entire summer recording the entire 1st season of "Digimon" between "Fox Kids" and "Fox Family". I don't have full commercial breaks, but still, this gives you an idea of what "Fox Family" was like in the Summer of 2000.
Included here:
1. Promo for the Fox Family "Made in Japan" programming block (an anime block revolving around episodes of "Digimon", "Flint the Time Detective", "Monster Rancher" and....the 90's "Mega Man" cartoon).
2. "Made in Japan" end bumper. This aired at the end of every "Made in Japan" block on Sundays.
3. A quick "Fox Family" bumper
4. A quick "Made in Japan" bumper
5. Digimon commercial break bumper (in which we learn the Japanese word for "Grandmother". A lot of the bumpers spend time teaching us Japanese words or Japanese culture).
6. The "Saban Entertainment" end bumper (which always aired at the end of any Saban Fox Kids show).
7. Digimon end credits (featuring promos for "S Club 7 in L.A." and "Time Share" - a Fox Family original movie)
8. "Made in Japan" end bumper. This is slightly different version than the previous one.
9. A quick "Fox Family" bumper ("summer" theme)
10. Digimon commercial break bumper (in which we learn the Japanese word for "Hey!")
11. Digimon commercial break bumper (featuring the Japanese word for "Mail")
12. The "Saban Entertainment" end bumper
13. Digimon end credits (featuring promos for another Digimon episode and for "MXG Beach Countdown")
14. "Made in Japan" quick bumper
15. "Digimon" commercial break bumper (showing the Japanese word for "Insect"). This bumper also includes the "Hot Like Wasabi" segment, going over what movies were hot in Japan at that time (which includes the 2nd Cardcaptor Sakura movie and the 3rd Pokemon movie).
16. The "Saban Entertainment" end bumper
17. Digimon end credits (featuring promos for "S Club 7 in L.A." and the "Digimon Digital Monsters Marathon")
Stay tuned, more to come!
