For the younger generation enjoy your childhood, don't rush on growing up quickly because you only get one childhood in your life, but when you do get older it doesn't mean your life is over... you can still have your dreams even as you get older

Lemme see... • Never had the original Digivice, but later in adulthood, I did get the Bandai Asia "Digivice 2" (it's basically the crappy neutered screen of the Bandai America release but with the version 2 add-ins such as Tailmon/Gatomon, Vamdemon/Myotismon, and the entire Dark Masters arc peeps); this is the only surviving Digivice I currently have...😑 • Had both the original and Digimon the Movie (original Digivice colored) D3s; my yellow Armadillomon one stopped working, gave my green Patamon one to my girlfriend at the time to replace her water-damaged blue Veemon one, and lost my orange Movie themed one. Also lost my D-Terminal, but was able to get a Bandai Asia version (that had a slightly updated character directory with 300 peeps compared to the original US version's 240 or 250)... • Only ever had the green Terriermon D-Power...Bandai America finally gives full screens only to ruin the gameplay. Eventually sold it for a few bucks. • D-Tector v1, Takuya's colors. That got wrecked in a basement flood back in 2007. • I never bothered with the Data Link Digivice (heard it was nerfed badly from/compared to the Digivice iC), and I definitely passed on the Fusion Loader (that hunk of junk was literally a completely different toy from both the Bandai Japan Xros Loader and literally every other Bandai America version Digivice that came before it). Aaaaaand that's it, I think the Fusion Loader was the last thing that Bandai America released until the goofy "Vital Hero" version of the Vital Bracelet from I think Ghost Game (yup, they skipped the Appliarizers entirely).

Yeah. I grew up in the 90s. I had no choice but to watch the dub. Dubbed anime is my preference now, but back then, it was all we had - watch it when it aired on TV dubbed or not at all. But I did listen to Butterfly on KZitem in 2005. I downloaded it and played it on my MP3 Player along with Brave Heart and some other Japanese Digimon songs. So although I grew up with Digimon Are The Champions, I still listened to Butterfly early in my childhood and these songs still invoke nostalgia in me.

I like to think of last evolution kizuna as a metaphor - even if your life as a child ends, even if your potential specifically as a child fades, it’s not over. You have to navigate a whole new set of potentials, and you have to do it without that childlike fancy (or, in physical form, a Digimon) and it’s scary and you miss everything you’ve lost growing up, but it’s gonna be okay regardless, and you’re glad you had it at all.

It has as much to do with saying good bye to them as you subconsciously recognizing that you're no longer a child. You've outgrown your old clothes, you no longer enjoy the same shows or books, and even if you didn't want to you no longer have the same friends. There is so much subliminal mesaging about having to accept that you're now an adult.

i am 38. At the beggining of the digimon adventure 3, at that photo frame. I really cried. i felt like i saw my childhood friends that i don't see 20-30years. And it is not just about sentiments. i think it is a really good song with a great melody. This is one of the songs on my "timeless songs" list. And from my Country another timeless song here. From Tarkan. Name : Uyan ( Wake Up. ) Wake up, put up your hand on your heart, before it's too late. Don't say that this road has a hill at its end ( It's an idiom in our language. it means this is very difficult, impossible. Or you can say "this road has no end." ) We can overcome these mountains if you believe. Our Home, our Homeland, our LAND/SOİL is disappearing forever. ( In Turkish traditions, soil is everything. Your home, your homeland, the place you came from (What your mother eats comes from the soil) and the place you will go. (When you die, the place where you will be buried is again soil.) Anything is possible if you believe. kzitem.info/news/bejne/uISEv5x7hHlldHo In short, "Wake Up" is a song about environmental pollution and erosion. A Wake Up Call.

Was just thinking of childhood stuff and I remembered digimon. Started searching for this masterpiece. Sadly I just found out the singer died 2016 and I kinda feel like I failed my younger self not knowing about this information sooner. Thank you for one of the best memories of childhood and for singing the intro to one of the best animes I have seen when I young.

One of the best anime OPs ever made. Unfortunately, when this was aired in my country Malaysia, we didn't have the channel that have the show (NTV7), and that was where all the awesome shows were (no offense to RTM TV2 and TV3 what they had at the time were also part of my childhood). I only ever watched the first two episodes, because I have a DVD of them, as well as what few episodes I get to watch when visiting my cousins or people who have NTV7 in their house.

I always get chills when I hear this opening and my eyes just get watery….. a little piece of childhood just patted me in the back letting me know it’ll be alright

This is the most depressingly and nostalgically victorious music ever. It sounds like it's trying so hard to be depressed, but it ended up accidentally being positive like always, as if it had recovered from depression just as soon.

I said it many times and I'll say it again. This is why Digimon will always be superior to Pokemon. The characters aged instead of staying 10 forever and had plot progression.
