Digiscoping for forest BIRDS in WESTERN GHATS
Welcome to the Western Ghats, home to a diverse array of forest birds waiting to be discovered.
Episode 9 of the Goa 2023 holiday continues onward to cover bird species of the Malabar Western Ghat region in (Molem, Tambdi Surla, Backwoods Camp) Near Bhagwan Mahaveer Wildlife Sanctury and (Old Magazine House at Ganeshgudi ) in Karnataka and Sucorro Plateau Goa
Today, we're exploring the exciting world of digiscoping, a method that combines the joys of birdwatching with the art of photography.
Using a spotting scope and a camera/mobile phone, we can capture stunning videos of these magnificent creatures without disturbing their natural habitat.
As we venture into the lush forests of the Western Ghats, we'll encounter colorful species like the Brown-cheeked Fulvetta, Common Iora(Not really common), and the Asian Brown Flycatcher.
With digiscoping, we can zoom in on these birds from a distance, allowing us to observe their behavior up close and personal.
So join us on this Episode as we marvel at the beauty of forest birds in their natural environment.
