Just repaired a sunk key on my P720 which is about 10 years old using this video which was very helpful indeed. The P720 is different from the casino piano shown in this video as it comes with a wooden frame supporting the keyboard about 3ft off the ground. The main difference when disassembling is that at 4:51 OP says remove the metal blocks at the top to get the rolling wooden keyboard cover off. If you have the P720 (or another version with a frame around it supporting it off the ground), you will probably find that when you take the back off the piano, the top is not attached to the back and does not come off as one piece with the back. That means that instead of just being left with the two metal plates to remove once you have taken the back off as shown in the video you will find the whole top of the piano is still in place and is attached to the sides in a way that cannot be disassembled from the inside. To take the top off you have to disassemble the wooden stand encasing the piano and take the wooden sides off completely. Then you can access hidden screws from the outside on each side, which fasten the top of the piano to the keyboard section. Once you unscrew the two screws located either side you can take the top off and then you can take off the rolling keyboard cover to get to the key mechanism. I suggest getting the hammer pads from Ali Express as you can buy just a few for less than $20 rather than having to get all 88 keys which seems to be the standard quantity sold on amazon for $60 to $90. I got mine for $0.99 for 5 black note and 5 white note hammer pads as Ali Express offers a discount to first-time users. They arrived within a week whereas the ones shown on amazon would have taken at least three weeks as well as being much more expensive.

Thanks for the video. It was great. Question #1: Where do I buy that tool that you use in the video and what is that tool called? Question #2: My black key on my piano didn’t sink but actually popped up. Do you know how to fix a popped black key? What do you think the problem is?

Thanks so much for this video, great explanation. When you first installed the new rubber it still seemed to be sunken, did you have to do anything to correct it 16:16
