The Digitone is such an awesome machine, got rid of the Takt real quick, but this one's a keeper!

Two minutes in, and I already love that you were able to structure this in a way that makes sense to me. From a higher level down to the lower level. Looking forward to the rest of it!

I saw that at the begin of the video you copy sounds to sound pool and used the sound pool, but after that, then you used directly the sounds of the library without moving to sound pool, for me is annoying have to copy every sound to sound pool before knowing if this sound will be good for my project, I don't really understand the logic of this, is it necessary copy sounds to sound pool?

When I create a drum track on an other track it influences the protamento of my bass track. Any idea what’s going on there? It seems it uses a lot of voices or something. When I lock voices it does seem to work

To be honest, I haven't run that specific use case myself, I will try to remember to look into it if I get a chance, I am just in the middle of a move and have my digitone packed up so I can't test it myself

what do those blue buttons mean when you pull up the keyboard/scales screen? thank you so much for this video, sir!
@NickCapron

". When a scale contains less than eight notes in an octave, the “remaining” [TRIG] keys on the lower row will play the same notes as the first [TRIG] keys on the upper row. Blue [TRIG] keys signal that they contain notes that are one or more octaves distanced from each other" Page 25 of the manual if you want to see more, and thank you for the kind comment!

Is it possible to add my own sounds from PC to Digitones Soundpool?? How can i do that?
@NickCapron
Жыл бұрын
Unfortunately, no, they need to be generated from the digitones sound engine. Look into the digitakt which is a sampler with the same interface and sequencer. It can do this, but lacks the FM sound engine.

@@NickCapron ok thanks . As u mentioned u can record your own Sounds to be used in Pool but no externals
@NickCapron

You got it, sound pool lets you trigger different patches under a track with the sequencer, like in the example, I'm using those drum patches, to trigger all those different drum sounds, under 1 track@@lagerfeuer99
