Edit: I wanted to add that the entire Rogue and Dillin stream can be an easy parallel to Chris-chan talking to Kacey, but the main difference is that Rogue's idea of wanting to explain turns out to be so spiteful (could be just how it was presented or something, whether be joke or not), that's gotta hurt for Dillin.

When it comes to making internet content, it's difficult to know how much of how a person acts is who they genuinely are and how much is merely a persona or a character or whatever. Hyperbole and exaggeration often comes about when reviewing content or making content or whatever. Honestly showcasing different aspects of ones personality and not being defined by acting one particular way is what makes us human. The edgy content I always enjoyed involved his discussions of insane people within the Sonic community cuz he brings to light behavior that shouldn't be enacted. Him being serious is just him trying to be reasonable, and the problem is not everyone wants to be reasonable. People have their own issues and hangups and often don't give a shit about acting civilized and don't see any reason to act civilized and think it's far easier to continue acting like insensitive immature butthurt jackasses like they were still in junior high or whatever, despite being grown ass adults. I've encountered this kind of thing and people like this far too often than is healthy, so it's no wonder Dillin is trying to get his shit together after all this. That was a good video on the guy. When I started getting into Chris Chan I came across his channel, and watched it mostly for that. I couldn’t care less about the actual Sonic stuff, but the videos talking about sickos were definitely interesting. One thing that was absolutely hilarious was how he picked a fight with Richard Kuta, and made several videos talking about him (unfortunately those are gone). One thing you missed was that the guy JessiePajamas was a good friend of Dillin’s. They’d read fanfics, comics, and articles together. Dillin would be on Jessie’s channel a lot where they’d read fanfictions. When Dillin accused Jessie of being a pedofork by his own admission he said that he knew for years about this, and never did anything about it until later (didn’t call the police, notify any of the people on the sites Jessie was talking to kids on, and never told anyone Jessie interacted about this). He just collected dirt on the guy that he could use if Jessie ever turned on him. This video does a good job of going over what happened (kzitem.info/news/bejne/1Ievq56PZoZiqGk). This recontextualized all of the stuff Dillin did for/with Jessie. Whenever they collabed their group would make jokes about Jessie being a pedofork, and Jessie would make “jokes” about children. At the time I just assumed it was them being idiots for fun, and would usually take the jokes too far. I was reading his Kiwifarms and it was pretty funny. I liked how they mentioned that Dillin would constantly talk about his own thread, and made a video on AWF within ours of that manbaby trying to sway the Kiwis to his side. It was really funny. @@jurassicarkjordanisgreat1778 Short Answer: Yes Slightly longer answer: The whole situation is kind of incomprehensible to an outsider, but Dillin did actually defend Jesse because he knew Mikey was lying. That attitude didn't change until around August when Dillin suddenly bailed on Jesse. Dillin assumed that Jesse was sending people to harass him (spoiler alert: He wasn't) so he confronted Jesse in mid November. If you check about page 48 of Dillin's Kiwi page (KZitem doesn't like me saying the name of that site) then you can see some DMs between Dillin and Jesse where Dillin basically says he is going to mess with Jesse for fun. Also the whole drama that has happened had alot more nuance that can't possibly be discussed in a youtube comment because KZitem will likely censor this comment, but I've tried my best to get around the filters so you can at least get an answer.

Hey man this was great, there is so much about dillin you can have a full bible about him. Like the whole jesse pajama's drama, drama with his gf, jeffery 9 drama, selling out most of his friends like dumbsville (which he seems to do alot) The lunatic lenord stuff or just A logging on chris in general just to feel better about himself. He really was playing an edgy persona to try and hide how soft he is and with rogue putting him in his place its understandable why he is not doing drama content now. It would just be hypocritical and open people up about that fact Most people see him as a lolcow now. Most of the community's he used to be in hate him. He barley gets any views anymore now since he gave up the whole drama act. Imo the only appeal he had was being one of the few edgy youtubers in the very progressive sonic community and being very mean about chris stuff. But thats all he is really good at and because of this he wont find an audience again since he gave up the one thing he was good at which was starting dramas.

I wish I had this screenshotted. A while back Dillin got into a really stupid spat with dumbsville, a friend of his at the time. Iirc I believe the reason was because he didn’t like that Dumbsville removed a video on Gamerguyd since he didn’t want to be associated with gamerguyd anymore. When I called him out on it (along a bunch of other people, many of which were from his own audience), he insulted them and put on this macho alpha male persona. He even called me “nobody on the internet” at one point. How ironic. After getting a bunch of heat, he eventually made up with dumbsville, released a half-hearted apology, didn’t apologize to the people he insulted (again, many of which were from his own fucking audience), deleted all the tweets he put out during this spat, and made his Twitter private. I really don’t care about drama, but to see this guy start so much shit and act all tough online only to immediately crumble the minute someone claps back is just sad and embarrassing.
