I like it very much that you are able to see the whole picture of this interpretation. And that you don't get offended by the fact that his English pronunciation is not on point. During this show, he had to learn English and Chinese songs, even though he didn't speak them. It's fun to see someone who has a greater perception.

This version for me is not just a cover, I think Dimash left his soul in his interpretation. He really he lives it through every note. How lucky we are to be able to testify to such a great talent! I don't think the world gets to know many of these. It is a gift from Heaven, as the meaning of his name indicates.

O reacție grozavă, ca de obicei. Aș putea spune, ca o completare la cum ai văzut tu corul de îngeri ce îl sprijină în final, cu ultimele note devine el însuși un înger în armata Binelui, putem vedea și așa. Mi-a plăcut viziunea ta.

Dimash is a prophet.. even in this song where he moans the undermining relevance of show business.. but especially in many of his other works where he gives us strong messages as to in what direction humanity should move forward in order to benefit mankind.. and not destroy it. Dimash so gets into the lyrics and intent of what he is singing. Thank you for understanding him. He is special. He was new to English so this makes it event better. I am sad when people focus on some of the word pronounication. He understands what he is singing and has internalised the meaning. He is a really philosophical person. That is why he builds intensity into his singing. He gives 100% ++

When Dimash first took part in this competition he was invited as a wild card and was the youngest competitor they'd ever had. He was 22yrs of age and his English wasn't as good as it is now. He would usually learn the songs in all the different languages from one week to the next as he advanced in the competition. It just goes to show you how amazing he is to be able to learn the lyrics and the musicality in such a short time and under the pressure of competing. He's just an amazing person and such an extraordinary talent! ❤️🙏✌️ Thanks so much for your reaction, keep going! x

This was Dimash's third appearance on the show and his first time singing a song in English. When he came to China for this competition, he only spoke Kazakh, his native language, and Russian. His first four songs were in French (SOS), Opera 2(Russian), English(The Show Must Go On), and Autumn Strong(Mandarin), with only one week to learn the songs for the next performance. He was not expected to go past the first two rounds, but he won them both. He really dominated the entire show but was not allowed to win the competition. They had to have a Chinese singer win. Dimash was the first and youngest foreigner to perform in the show's history. Like you, I love the opening of this song, I love violins and then the cello...oh my goodness. This orchestra was, in my opinion, better than excellent and paired perfectly with Dimash. I hope you will react to Adagio, All By Myself, and Unforgettable Day on this same show. Dimash wrote Unforgettable Day when he was 19. I love watching you react to Dimash, it's almost like seeing him again for the first time for me, yet, anticipating your reaction to a part of the song that I know will blow you away. Wow, you are one of the few reactors that actually "gets it". Almost everyone I've watched usually just says "well his English needs to be improved" and "that's not the way Freddie sang it". ??? What the hey? Of course that's not the way Freddie sang it and who cares if Dimash has an accent. Dimash, as he usually does, saw deep into Freddie's heart and soul the true feelings of what Freddie would not show the world. Freddie's fear and sorrow at his impending death, the bravado at the end and the final realization that indeed, the show WILL go on without him. That's what we are being shown by Dimash and it is very heartbreaking to see and hear. I was stunned the first time I heard it and could not quite process it, then hearing a second time, then a third time, it was as if Freddie himself was pouring out his feelings through Dimash. So heartwrenching. After all, Freddie was in terrible pain and died just a few weeks after he recorded this song.

Good morning for me here in Philly, PA. I’ve been a Dimash Dear (what he calls us, his fans) since around 2018 & I’ve seen so many reactions to Dimash’s “Show Must Go On” performance, many of which are good, “vocal coach” based. Yours was the first to go so in depth into the meaning behind Dimash’s interpretation of Freddie’s heart-wrenching song. I am very happy to now being your subscriber, with all notifications on. Sir, totally enjoyed your reaction to Dimash’s version of this iconic song ! This was only the third song this audience had heard from Dimash (out of 13 total in the entire show). He was a total unknown to the Chinese audience when he opened the 2017 season of I Am A Singer. Overnight the show got 600 million hits on Chinese YT called Weibo! You should check out all of them on your own. G Wu’s YT channel has most of them with English subtitles and very important back stories, Dimash’s Wikipedia entry explains the show and lists what he sang, in the order and how he placed. He ended up the season’s runner-up. Well known Chinese singer Sandy Lam actually won. Enjoy this introduction to Dimash like the world did. You don’t need to make reactions, just enjoy !!!! Well, Adagio from round 6 was a do or die performance, he was in danger of being voted off so he left it all on the floor. Just an amazing performance from someone only 22 years old!!!! Just subscribed! Your thoughts and insights are spot on!!!👍👍🤗🤗🤗

Wow, Wow, Wow!!! One of the best reactions to this specific performance of Dimash I have ever watched. Your thoughts and connections you made to the lyrics and the way Dimash sang and delivered them were spot on. Opinions about this song in particular were often mixed and I almost lost interest in watching reaction videos to "The Show Must Go On" ... because it often left me dissatisfied... I had the impression that Dimash was misunderstood and that the circumstances of the performance, a singing competition, were mostly ignored. Only in exceptional cases, I`ll take a look, if I know the reacter, like you, and I already liked other reactions from him. Some reacters/commenters were enthusiastic and completely over the moon (but I fear that some were mainly waiting for the wow effect of Dimash's high notes). But there was also criticism: either people picked on Dimash's inadequate English or a few accused him of just showing off and not conveying adequate feelings. Once I even read one comment, accusing Dimash of not understanding the message of the song and not doing Freddy Mercury's song justice. By the way, it is never about competing against the original singer ... only against the other contestants ... some people forget this. I have always seen it differently and was not only enthusiastic about Dimash's extreme vocals, but also about the interesting structure, the choice of the more classical instruments that were used, the fragile voice at the beginning, which was full of emotion and the tension he created in this song (Dimash had the idea for this arrangement himself and worked together with his friend and sound engineer, Erlan Bekchurin, who probably also brought in a few ideas here and there and gave the whole thing the finishing touches and then finally realized it in the studio.) And of course Dimash knew the lyrics and the meaning of the song, even though he could hardly speak any English...after all, he had prepared intensively for it and he had known the song for a few years before (I once saw a short excerpt of the song, when Dimash sang it in a karaoke bar where he spent some free time with friends - this was before the time of "I'm Singer"). I really liked your observation, your analysis, your thoughts... they were that good, that I will write them down so I don't forget them. 🥰🖋📓 Thank you very much. I`m looking forward to your next Dimash reactions - and subscribed 😊👍. Kind greetings from Germany 🙋🏻♀🇩🇪💞

Great analysis of his performance. 😊 Freddy was dying at the time, when he sang that song. That might explain his angrier delivery. 😔 Dimash always interprets covers differently from the original. Whenever he sings one, I already know beforehand it will be surprising in some way. 😅 If you liked this song, you should also check out the Queen medley with the Super Vocal Boys ❤ And just to recommend something different: Amanat is a beautiful and emotional Kazakh song. kzitem.info/news/bejne/umiG16KEbGOhf2Usi=7H6PLpImhrgPl_1F It doesn’t have the range as his better known songs, and it is rather calm and quiet. But what astounds me is how he always manages to make these quiet songs very dynamic and exciting. 🔥🥰
