I'm on a "Guitar Creative" binge. Just came back for a refresher, and I got more out of it than I did before! BTW, I LOVE your Strat Tone!

That’s awesome! I love it when something is helpful. I plan to push up all the new tools next week and start back doing videos. Can’t wait for you to see how they work now.

Fantastic Lesson! I love it when I "stumble onto" something and have that "Aha" moment like you talked about here. Something that blows my mind about Diminished Chords too is, that you can go from any of the 3 Diminished to any Major OR Minor Chord that is a half step above or a whole step below ANY note in the Diminished Chord. For Composing/Songwriting that allows you to literally modulate from ANY Key TO Any Key, and do it smoothly and Beautifully. I played a lot of years without ever using a Diminished Chord at all. I had NO idea how or where to use them. Now, I use them all the time for smooth transitions from Chord to Chord, and for interesting Modulations. I'm sure you already knew this, but I'm sharing it for anybody that might find it fascinating and useful. Thanks again for another eye opening Lesson! Have a Great Day!

Great lesson! Lots to absorb here. Definitely living up to the Guitar Creative idea. Love the way you have been able to combine multiple scales. Coming from a visual arts background, this like mixing different colours to come up with a new colour. As a newcomer to Jazz, Fusion, etc.. Could you recommend some Albums, Artists that I could listen to, gain more insight into their playing style. I’m finding that in addition to learning scales, it’s important to listen to examples of Artists who are making use of creative ways of using/combining scales. Thank you 👍🙏🦘

You bet, Ot. As for straight ahead Jazz guitarists you can’t get any better than Jim Hall on his Jim Hall Live album. It was recorded in the 70’s in a club in Canada. It’s my all time favorite. Another person you might listen to is Pat Metheny. Any of his albums are good. But there are too many to mention so I’ll stop there. As for fusion/jazz, I really love the way Mike Stern plays. Any albums by him would be good. Also, for pop jazz it doesn’t get any better than Larry Carlton. Listen to any of the Four Play albums.
