Cooking note: When making the soy-sauce glaze for the crispy tofu, make sure it doesn't burn. I would recommend reducing your heat to a medium and letting it gently simmer for about 2 minutes. Then throw in the crispy tofu pieces - even if the sauce looks a bit watery. Bon Appetit Nei'bors!

Hey guys! I absolutely love your channel!! This beautiful caramelized tofu recipe is amazing and I can't wait to try it!! I wanted to ask if you can make a video about recipes using soybean powder (like in injeolmi and bingsu) not only for desserts but actual food too...since I have a huge bag I bought from S. Korea and I'm not sure what to do with it. Lol Thx so much!! ☺☺

Why is the honey so pale in Korea like corn syrup. I use raw unfiltered local honey and it's a dark golden color.
@Ellipseification
6 жыл бұрын
Oh I know this one! Korean honey is usually sourced from Acacia tree flowers, so the colour is very light. As a bonus, it crystallises less than other types of honey, like clover or wildflower!
@miaufrau4836

The color of honey depends on what plants the bees collect their nectar from. Your darker colored honey probably also has a deeper flavor. Yum!

Seriously considering just entirely switching over to an eastern diet completely! Every time I try any new dish or eat one that I have been making for months, it is just entirely delicious in a way that even my own home country's food has never been. Not to mention that the lot of it is so much healthier!
