Just an FYI, Walmart has shelf stable cream. If you look in the ethnic section, it’s called Nestlé’s media Crema. I use it in anything that needs cream when I don’t have fresh cream. Love it.

Been watching y’all for years but never left a comment. But y’all mentioned Moss Family, and I just have to say: between you and them, I have found so much encouragement (and good recipes!) in my daily work. I’m a full time homemaker, and even before either of y’all mentioned going to church or whatever, I could tell y’all were believers. I like watching you because you encourage me to labor cheerfully and joyfully for the Lord, even though making dinner isn’t always explicitly a Christian task 😂 the Lord lives cheerful givers, and y’all seem to give cheerfully, and it’s encouraging to see your obedience and how the Lord has blessed you. Thank you. And maybe one of these days I’ll add a recipe or two to your subbie supper queue. Thank you for your faithfulness, and may the Lord bless you abundantly ❤️

Mandy, the tip about shredding and freezing rotisserie chicken is something that I have been doing for quite a while. I also do the same when I slow cook and shred pork shoulder, but I break them down into smaller packages to freeze (I'm still trying to learn to cook for one). BUT! Thanks to you, I now have bags of chopped onions and celery, and sliced onions and bell peppers in my freezer ready for me to use at a moments notice. You see, I purchased the chopper and the shredder you use because I have carpel tunnel and arthritis in my wrist and fingers, so chopping was becoming painful. So I chopped a bag of onions, several bunches celery, and more veggies, so now my cooking time is cut down to less than 45 minutes and a whole lot fewer dishes. Now I have more time to look for more new recipes. LOL

I lost my 11.5 year old cat and best friend, Chester, on September 1st. He was totally fine one day and suddenly his chest cavity was entirely full of fluids due to they believe cancer taking over. He died on the ER table right as they were trying to drain the fluids and my world just flipped upside down. There was no cat that could compare to how amazing he was to our family. He used to walk our girls to and from the bus stop when they were in school and had so many special bonds with us all; even though sometimes we think he thought he was my husband the way he'd take up the empty space next to me in bed like he was a legit human and he'd watch over me😅 Anyway, I say all this to say I've always loved seeing Gracie Lou in these videos but even more so now, especially since she's the same way about cheese as Chester was. He wouldn't touch any other kind of human food but he sure had to have some cheese when we pulled it out! I'm so thankful you all still have Gracie, she's precious. Thank you for sharing her sweet little face with us each video 🤗

My anxiety keeps me out of Costco, (We moved to an area that does not have a Sam's within 2-3 hours) so I always buy at least 3. I come home and separate them right away. Thigh and drumstick goes into bags for my sons to throw into the air fryer for a snack. The breasts all come off and get shredded, chunked and frozen for future meals. Some even get frozen with veggies and sauces for quick meals. But the best part is all the bones go into the crock pot for a few days to make bone broth instead of having the bones sitting in the freezer waiting for more pieces and getting forgotten about. Best thing I ever started doing.

Fun Fact: Did you know that "White mushrooms", and the brown mushrooms that you have in the first recipe are both variations of Button mushrooms? The brown ones are just older and have a deeper flavor, while the white are younger and have a more mild flavor. Even the big Portobello Mushrooms are just the final growth stage of the Button mushroom or Agaricus bisporus. PS love the recipes
