Lovely tribute to Bonnie, Mandy. I'm glad you were there for her, and that she/her family reached out to share how much you meant to her. You inspire so many of us. Dear sweet Mandy and Steven, I'm also in tears while watching subbie suppers. Bonnie is gazing down and her heart is bursting too. There are a few I've been fans of and met, one I'd even had a 40 plus year relationship with. Speaking from experience though...just the fact that you do what you do brings joy, entertainment, happiness comfort and a smile or giggle....that's what she ( or any of us) need. You have that. YOU take THAT comfort and wrap it around you like a hug from Heaven. Love you all

Steven was right, I pan fry them on my cast iron smooth griddle pan. I spray it with a little oil and don't let them get crispy just a few dark spots & their toughened up enough to hold together. Agree, they do need to be pan fried. I fry them just long enough to be able to fold them in half & then flip them. I let them get a light golden brown & it doesn’t take long. I fry them both as taco shells & some flat for tostadas.

Best tacos ever and mine never fell apart. I am 66 now and my parents are both in heaven. Tip on the corn tortillas! I use cooking spray and the microwave. Here's how: I place a tortilla on a plate and squirt the top lightly with cooking spray then stack the next tortilla on top and then squirt this next one on top .... Continue to stack and spray until you have however many you need . Then I microwave for about 15-30 seconds depending on how many tortillas you have . I often flip the whole stack over and microwave again for another 10 or so seconds. Works great! Keeps them soft and keeps them from tearing . I do this when making enchiladas. Love your channel! Prayers for your family ❤

For corn tortillas - my dad grew up in Mexico (his dad was working down there) and he always put one half to one inch of oil in the cast iron skillet, heated it up (medum heat) and put in a tortilla. Let it cook for about 30 seconds, flip it, cook 15 to 30 seconds more, and take it off to blot on paper towels. Rest in peace, Bonnie. I’m so glad your sister is doing better. For corn tortillas I warm them in a hot fry skillet for maybe 8 seconds per side. When I get tacos from a restaurants they use two corn tortillas per taco so that might help. 😊

I really wish you could see the people on the "inside of your cupboard". You would see what joy you bring to the people in there. A beautiful story and what a testament to you and your family. I pray that your sister is doing well.
