This is why I like J and the Band. They get out there and fucking play to anybody. I still hear about how great other bands are and how great other guitar players are but what fuckin good does it do me if I can only see or hear them once every 10 years!

It is pretty rare. One of the few other bands I seen that still have the same energy is Heart. Though I lost interest in them in the eighties pop phase.

Never seen J stand in front of anything less than giant Marshall’s. He must’ve felt naked. Little Fury Things - one of my favorites. Whole album’s great.

being a huge DInosaur Jr/Sebadoh/Sonic Youth fan from Connecticut is what led me and my buddies to discover the northampton/ameherst/south hadley area of MA years ago..i wouldnt even be surprised to stumble upoon this happening in AMherst its such a cool little college town!

I still hope Lou goes back and does some touring with sebadoh.i saw them a few years back, did back to back shows. I saw Lou solo with Grey matter. Eric Gaffney's band. They did 3 old school sebadoh songs in a little bar in north Hampton. Never thought I would see that.

They are just cabs,with 12 inch speakers.Vintage 30 speakers unless he changed them out for something else.
