I don't have a fear of spiders but I do have a fear of heights. What is your phobia?

Good job bud! I think with the spider it'd be fun to experiment with a mixture of different grass lengths. First video of yours I've seen and I must say I'm impressed. Great work!

I even tried to lower the pressure in the airbrush but then nothing came out so I guess it's just a bit more practice

If someone wasn't arachnophobic before they saw your finished diorama, they'd be arachnophobic after seeing it! But whatever their fear of spiders may be before or after, they'd have to admit this is a VERY well made diorama! As for what my phobia is; I'm still a bit reluctant to dive-into the 'newfangled' technique of 3D Printing, using clear, two-part resin to simulate water, and the "Spanish School" of finishing and weathering a model. I'm still firmly committed to injection molded styrene kits, avoiding water in dioramas altogether, and the finishing / weathering methods pioneered by Shep Paine, Bob Letterman and François Verlinden, in the 1970's - 1980's. (The American / Belgian School?) 50th like.

I have most of Shep's books and I still have a lot of pieces and books from Verlinden. His Vietnam stuff was just on another level. Both just amazing diorama builders. When I first started modeling in the late 80's, I used to build nothing but military. But the geek in me took over once I had learned all the weathering techniques. Sadly, life got in the way and I took a break from modeling for 20 years. 3D printing has been such a game changer for me. It has opened up so many doors. I have a box full of greeblies that I designed so when I do some of my kitbashing, I never run out of parts. Thanks for watching
