Sometimes the comments on a clip are almost as beautiful and meaningful as the song. This is one of those xox For anyone who may be interested, I believe that Mark Knopfler's brother David (who was also in the band) once said that he believed that this was the most perfect song ever written ... I understand where he was coming from, hey. Thank you everyone for the contributions of your thoughts and feelings in the words below this clip.

My father's first track of his playlists all the time. So when he turn on the cd player in the car I always listen to this song. When i was little girl, I just skipped this song every time he turned on this song.. But now listening to this song with him in the car is my favorite moment in my life. I listen to it whenever I have hard times and reminds him. Such a beautiful song and I don't even know how I explain its greatness.. Thank you for this great music and also thank my father for letting me know this wonderful sounds. There'd be the one day that I play this to my children.

Baby I see this world has made you sad Some people can be bad The things they do, the things they say But baby I'll wipe away those bitter tears I'll chase away those restless fears That turn your blue skies into grey Why worry, there should be laughter after pain There should be sunshine after rain These things have always been the same So why worry now Baby when I get down I turn to you And you make sense of what I do I know it isn't hard to say But baby just when this world seems mean and cold Our love comes shining red and gold And all the rest is by the way Why worry, there should be laughter after pain There should be sunshine after rain These things have always been the same So why worry now

Anos 80/90 foram mágicos, especialmente na música. As melhores bandas e artistas brasileiros se formaram, internacionalmente grandes músicos. Legião, Paralamas, Titãs, Barão, Cazuza, Capital Inicial, Ira, Ultraje, Zero, Blitz, Lobão, Lulu Santos, Sempre Livre, Nenhum de Nós, Biquini, Djavan... Scorpions, Aha, Dire Straits, Supertramp, simply red, the police, Elton John, INXS, Tears for fears...

I'm having my final masters exam tomorrow and I'm a mess today. This song was intruduced to me by my dad who is the biggest Dire Straits fan in the world and and we have a really strong father-daughter bond. "Why Worry" helped me through some really difficult university times, it's my go-to song whenever I'm feeling lonely and get homesick. It makes me cry at first but then it actually makes me feel so much better, it makes me feel safe and helps me to clear my mind. Today I was so stressed out, I was having a panick attack after a panick attack and this song helped me once again. Let's hope it was the last time that I've listend to it as a student. Thank you
