I really like what you're doing. It has real value in so many ways in our current world. One way is that it simply stops us for a moment in our stressful lives and forces us to relax and remember there's more to living than our work. I've been a performing musician for 42 years. In the early part of that time I dreamed of making a living in music. Then I married and started a family. My aspirations changed over time and I eventually had a great career as a lineman for the phone company. But I kept my love of music and performing. I'm retired now and I sing and play guitar in a three piece classic rock cover band. I feel like a young man again. I hope you get to do this for as long as it brings you joy. Wherever life takes you, hold onto your love of music. It's a wonderful gift. I wrote all this to get to a piece of advice I'm motivated to share after watching this video twice. While busking, seeing the world, and making enough money doing it to keep it going is an unforgetable experience you can't put a dollar value on, it's not a career that will typically provide for you in retirement unless you make that happen yourself. If music indeed does become your career, and I hope it does, please learn as much as you can now about retirement and begin funding it now while it's much easier because you're starting early. In other words, use time for your benefit, don't let it slip by and have to scramble to catch up in later years when it will be much harder. I don't mean to throw cold water on your experience. Just wanting to touch on something that will matter tremendously in your future. Please post more videos!
