Thanks for a fantastic video. Thanks to your video, I was able to disassemble my Nikon F and do a complete CLA. It was completely non-functioning prior to disassembly, but now works like new.

Mike, Thx for the fantastic video. As I follow your procedure that I clean up my Nikon "F" when I finished that I have a problem to hook up the dial spring on the film advance section. Would you show more detail on the film advance level ?

Hey Mike, my advance lever gets stuck when I wind it and have to manually push it back in its original position. Any idea why this may be happening?

I’m pressing the silver button to remove the prism. The from of the prism seems to unlock and lift up a bit but the rear of it where the eye piece is still in place. Prism won’t come off. Can anyone help?

These videos are great and very informative but I can't help thinking they'd be even more useful if you had a normal speed (non-timelapse) version. Thanks anyway.

Well, I can see your point, but in some of my movie's I made it as a normal speed in HD because there where some sound, but in some of the longer disassemble process, I made it as a motion-lapse film. But I will make more of the normal speed film. Cheers Kenneth

It's an old compass for metal work, that I have file and grind to fit proper in the small holes and nothes. You can get them in many different size and quality, but you should buy the more rigid quality, the cheaper is way too flexible. Here you can f.eks. get some of them: www.aliexpress.com/item/10-Measuring-Gauge-Distance-Compass-Drawing-Divider-Mark-Craft-Design-Layout-Tool-HS717/32819939590.html?spm=2114.search0305.4.77.onpM8c Here is another one on a good prize on Amazon:www.amazon.com/Divider-Caliper-Compass-Marking-Machinist/dp/B015CLTYNA
