This Philips B6X04 is not worth saving. The radio will be parted out. I can use the speakers, output transformer, variable capacitor, and the speakers. Normal I also take out the power transformer, but that is toast. I only take out the fuse. Since the smoking resistor is attached to the electrolytic cap, I suspect a short in the cap, and also leave that. The EL84 did not lit up, so that is bad too. The back cover is missing, and someone had been messing around in the radio. Time to go.
