Wiring on the old 79 series is simple. They are made for river crossings. You got rid of the toughest car ever made for a ford ranger when all it needed was a full service and an auto electronics. You'll never find a ute like that again

Hmm! I always leave my car in gear…..never rely on the handbrake. In the old gear I keep a wheel chock in the tray. Imaging if it was rolling whilst you were on ramps loading the quad onto the tray! I always take a moment and check what I’m doing. As I get older the risk need to be managed so I don’t hurt myself.

Awesome to see you both back on the Tube 👍👍👍 Think you have done a reverse in tow vehicles, most blow the Rangers up and replace with an F series 🤣🤣🤣but good to see you got out of that little pickle.👍 We had our own little mischief on our last little trip that was water related but ours was in our fuel 🤨🤨🤨, took the tilt tray ride of shame to the next biggest town to get us going till we got home 🤣🤣🤣 How full is the freezer now, sounds like bacon for ever 🤪🤪🤪 Look forward for the next episode, keep the awesomeness coming 👍👍👍 Cheer Andy

@@petersutcliffe3267 yes they can be done I believe only Lovells is able to do both GVM and GCM upgrades and is best done prior to first Registration as a SSM then it is recognized in all states as legal the next Ranger kit is not available yet but it is due around the end of April we hope to get a GVM of 3700 and GCM of 7100 which is a huge difference from standard cheers Kev

A patrol handbrake locks at the diff like a truck. A cruiser is a wire locking system. To my knowledge you can really do it. I definitely would have done it already if so. Also the aftermarket upgrade lock fairly well backward but wouldn't of stopped him facing forward

Can't understand Toyota how long have they been making Landcruisers for fifty sixty years? They have never had a good handbrake on them and i doubt they ever will. Everybody else seems to be able to have a good handbrake why not Toyota? They seem to be alright on the wagons and the Hilux but they have never been any good on the tray back Cruiser and for the life of me i don't know why.
