This was a long project in the making, and I'm really happy to be able to unveil the first half. It's a culminating two-part documentary about the early 90s company Renaissance-Atlantic (responsible in-part for Mighty Morphin Power Rangers) and their efforts to bring Japanese media to the west. If all had played out as intended, many of the original Bandai Japan properties would be American-made cartoons and live action adapatations!
This doc unearths new info regarding Saban Moon, Team Angel, the rumored western Dragonball adaptation, a secret feud in the localization community between Frank Ward and Funimation... and more!
