Hi Beaux, I've been watching you for a few years now.. (nothing wierd)... Since you were called Beaux Ouimette or similar.. Have you ever considered going back over areas where you had great finds in the past with a Garmin sonar side scanner... (Other brands are available..lol).. It'd be funny if you got excited over a Carbine Rifle if next to it, in 8ft of water was a Bronze Cannon you completely missed??!!??!

The bottle at the 8:59 mark appears to be a Hutchinson or "Hutch" bottle which had a unique spring loaded stopper design. They were made for many soda companies from 1880 - 1912 or so. Depending on the embossing, condition & rarity can be worth $20 to hundreds of dollars, and some even reaching thousands of dollars. Took me 3 or 4 years to get my first Hutch. Nice find !

I'm sure there are more than a couple good stories that could have been told by those that "emptied" some of those bottles! I've always found glass blowing fascinating and interesting that it was how many bottles were made, even into the early 20th C. I love it when you show the glass and letting us see the bubbles, the imperfections.

That thing you call a bottle opener, I'm pretty sure, is specifically a milk bottle opener. It should have a little nub on one end used for picking out the cardboard disc seal and the round section removed the metal seal some bottles have.

Love your bottle adventures. Just wondering if you ever take a black light to your bottle/jar/glass finds? Ever since I found out they used to use Uranium to color glass, I check everything I find, you would be amazed at how much some of that glass glows due to the amount of Uranium used.

I remember as a kid me an my buddy at around age 7 would play in this giant bottle dump in the back woods of his house , we would smash every single thing we could , fast forward 30 years later o went back and dug through piles of busted glass and found what I could and there was still some left , I’m sure there’s thousands more there. But I got a perfect ceramic jug addressed 434 Lackawanna ave which is the train station in steam town PA . So cool . Lots of expectorant bottles , seems like a popular word they used in the early century lol
