he spends his life on social media and lives in california. unfortunately people are so shallow they use other peoples insecurities to shadow their own. its sad. when i was a kid i used to want to visit california, as i grew up in south africa. California looks like the bane of my existence. their currency is clout. south africas currency is actually being alive. im glad i was born there cause if i was born in cali or something i dread knowing the type of person i would become. I hope the trip helped david find himself a little more to a point he can look past covering his hairline. also, never stair at money too long, that shits like medusa

What I love about these trips is the fact that these kids are being exposed to the world. It will give them a greater understanding of their own place in it. Maybe care a little less about the small things and appreciate a little more the things they have. I live on a farm just outside Cape Town and I thank God everyday that I don't live in a big city and I am grateful for everything I have.

@@student8557 I read on some legit website that the season has been cancelled and it seems to be true since nothing has been conveyed to the viewers yet. idk much, but is it because the controversies that recently took place (like David talking abt Jeff's accident on the podcast)? Also David has literally stopped posting on all of his YT channels. Ig it has something to do with Jeff's case.

Im south african. The amount of ignorance about the country shown by them throughout is wild. Also referring to their destination as "Africa" the whole time as if they're visiting the whole continent and not just 1 city in only 1 country. fucking hell. Also wtf with all the tribal music the whole time... we have regular music like everyone else in the world.

i totally understand this comment, it's literally present in every travel videos I watch of any of this westerners visiting African countries, the make it's a thing of I'm travelling to Africa and even in this video David feels he is in the middle of Africa, going on a safari ride. it's mostly us that are Africans and know better that get to see this ignorance, others think we are crying foul. and the constant need to portray wildlife and cultural practices in any part of Africa they visit is always a focus point.
@pred7949
2 жыл бұрын
@@Nkemek-nti I think you might be a bit too much in your own feels about this. You are nit picking a tiny portion of the video to focus your energy on, when they literally encapsulated the total experience, from landing at OR Thambo to the typical Joburg Uber driver tour, clubbing, flying to hoedspruit and experiencing some of Limpopo and Mpumalanga's hidden gems and villages, Anti poaching. Why does it feel that you are not even seeing the cultural educators as Africans? They are literally out there doing the work and you are talking shit about them, is this in a sad and desperate attempt just so you might deem yourself "better than' others? oooof sucks to suck. You come across as ashamed of what we are. If you wanna be american, then move to america, or australia with the rest of the racists for that matter. If you you want to defend what you said about their ignorance and that we as africans know better, please explain yourself.
