Visiting the (old) Museum of London on weekend you saw a really quiet St Paul's area (almost a bit creepy). So much of the City of London was destroyed in the Blitz, you can only be amazed how the old buildings that survived DID survive! Another lovely Womble around some fascinating places!

Awwww thanks Neil yes I love how quiet the city can be especially at the weekends. Although I’ve noticed in recent years that it is getting busier, weekends in the city used to be a ghost town, so much so that a lot of the coffee shops used to shut at weekends (even Starbucks lol) but it does seem to be getting attention from tourists and wanderers which is no bad thing because it’s such a fantastic part of London. This is definitely one of my favourite parts of London. So much history and Grade 1 listed buildings at every turn. I love it 😍
