Basically means "Mountain Cat" Puma, Mountain Lion, Cougar. Which is strange Because I always thought Zoltar looked like a bat.

Zoltar- Berg Katse The Luminous One/Great Spirit- Leader X (In G-Force, Katse/Zoltar was renamed to Galactor (which is funny because Galactor was named after the evil organization in the original Japanese Dub) and Leader X is named Computor. Also in the original Gatchaman OVA dub (Harmony Gold) Katse was renamed as Solaris and while X was renamed Lord Zortek instead) Also in Eagle Riders: Mallanox- Gel Sadra (In the Saban version, Mallanox was referred as a male until later episodes it was revealed that Mallanox is a girl named “Nancy Aikens” who was aged up by Cybercom (Leader X) and the long lost daughter of Dr. Francine Aikens. While in the original version of Gatchaman II, Gel Sadra is a woman (until the subs identify her as “he”) and she is the missing daughter of Dr. Sylvie Pandora and was also kidnapped and aged up by Leader X.) Happy Boy- Count Egobossler (In the original dub of Gatchaman F, Helm Egobossler is the third righthand man of Leader Z (Leader X’s final form) and while in Eagle Riders version he became Mallanox’s second form and that it’s all… Which it totally bugs me in my opinion.)

Berg Katze. It's the literal translation in German of 山猫 ( _yamaneko_ ), which means "lynx" in Japanese. Yama/Berg = moutain, and Neko/Katze = cat.
