Wow I never knew that Disney was planning to make a movie on Where the Wild Things Are, to me it doesn’t even look like a Disney film because the animation has more Tiny Toons feel to it and what year was it supposed to come out?

The highest quality footage of the Where the Wild Things Are test can be found here: kzitem.info/news/bejne/u2h_x3p5fKuWl2k The video is called "Computer Graphics Special (1986 High Quality 60FPS Laserdisc CG Demo Reel)", the channel is called Reely Interesting, and it happens 17 minutes and 58 seconds in.

While we didn't get this as a full movie or get a 2D/3D Movie hybrid, we do get to see both together in a few select movies scenes, like The Black Cauldron. We see it quite alot during the Disney Renaissance peroid in the 90s. You can definitely see it with scenes like the Ballroom in Beauty and the Beast and The Cave of Wonders from Aladdin as examples.

It was clear that John Lasseter was always obsessed with and biased about computer animation since he was first working for Disney in the 80s. And that was back when Disney still cared about hand-drawn animation until the 2000s when many of their 2D animated films had flopped at the box-office, which resulted in Disney abandoning traditional animation for good in favor of CG-only. Tbh, Disney did the right thing to fire him last year because he has done so many horrible things other than just sexual harassment. He lied about Cars being all his idea, got wasted during wrap-up parties due to being an alcoholic, greenlit Cars 2 aka the worst Pixar movie ever made, greenlit Planes and it's sequel, geenlit the unnecessary cash-grab sequel Toy Story 4, had Olaf's Frozen Adventure be shown in theaters before Coco for two weeks instead of another original Pixar short all because he felt that the holiday special was just "too theatrical to be aired on TV" (and it didn't deserve to exist either other than as an excuse to make a quick buck), had Frozen changed completely in order to "better fit" Let It Go by making Elsa a "misunderstood heroine" instead of a villain as she was originally supposed to be, turning Disney's adaptation of the Snow Queen into the worst and most overrated Disney animated film of all time, and so much more. He was really nothing but a selfish, delusional, moronic, hypocritical, and prideful scumbag who was totally blinded by his own hubris. He had abused his own power to get away with his disgusting and immoral behavior and conduct for far too long until 2017. He really just wasn't the amazing, talented, inspiring, and even passionate animated filmmaker and role model that we all thought he was.

Kinda ironic that in the Black Friday Reel, Woody uses his power to abuse the toys and soften his character when John Lasseter abuses his own power to get what he wants and his character was NEVER soften.
