Hi guys and Welcome back to my channel,
This video is all about our experience at Disneyland Paris this Summer.
Here are a few tips that you may find helpful if you too are visiting Disneyland Paris with the kids.
1. Be sure to download the Disneyland app, this app is extremely helpful in finding your way around the park. It also shows waiting times for all the rides and guides you in terms of what ages the rides are suitable for.
2. The food in Disneyland can be quite underwhelming. We found food very pricey and flavours very basic. You can choose to book and dine at the restaurants that are available but we found this option very costly at an average of €30 per adult and €20 per child. We were able to find much more affordable options as compared to the restaurants in the food stalls throughout the park. However if you do wish to visit some of the themed restaurants like the Pirates of the Caribbean or Ratatouille one, it is important to book in advance, sometimes even months in advance. The average price of food was between €8 and €12 for a meal and about €5 to €8 for light meals and snacks. A basic packet of popcorn cost about €6. Ice cream cost around three €3.50
3. We were definitely happy with our decision to stay in the park, be sure to watch my last video on travelling to Disney which included our accommodation. I also did a room tour of our accommodation at the Disney Sequoia Lodge. We found the accommodation to be very basic but it was fairly neat and clean and it had a ample breakfast buffet. The main reason for staying in the hotel was due to the fact that we travelled with our two young kids. We wanted to be able to go back to the room when we needed to take a break and to be able to go back-and-forth for highlights like the parade and the fireworks display.
4. We did not get a fast pass because we were in the park for three days. If you are visiting the park for a day trip I would suggest getting a fast pass. This is especially important if you are visiting in summer as the queues can get very long. Every day the park allows the residents of the hotel one hour park time before they allow the day visitors to enter, this is a great opportunity to get to all the rides you want to without long queues.
5. They are a wide variety of different Disney stores to visit each of them has unique items to see. If you have time I would highly suggest visiting as many as you can, they are also clothing stores and a Lego store. The prices of the items were in line or slighty cheaper than o
Disney items we have purchased previously at other retail stores. However the main reason to visit and purchase items in the stores is because of how unique the items are. Because Disney was our first stop, we did not carry a large amount of toys for the girls to play with and decided to let them shop for little figurines and small toys that they could use to play for the duration of our trip.
6. There are so many rides and activities and things to do with kids and with the family in Disneyland Paris. I have made a list of some of our favourite rides and the ones that are family and toddler friendly if you are also travelling with a young family.
- Peter Pan Flight
-Dumbo
-Casey Jr Train Ride
-Carousel
-The Magic Carpet Ride
-Boat Ride through a Disney Story Book
-Disney Railroad
-Curious Labyrinth
-Teacups
-Space Orbit
There are still so many rides that we didn't even get a chance to go on or rides that were most suited to all the kids and adults so be sure to download the Disney app and check out all the rides are available and plan the ones that you want to do.
7. We booked accommodation in the park and this included our daily tickets to the theme park 2 parks at Disneyland Paris and one of them is the walt Walt Disney studio oak. While you could go between the parks in a day I would definitely suggest doing the parks over a few days as there is so much to see.
8. There are a variety of live shows that happen at the Walt Disney studios. Check your app for the list of available shows. I would suggest that you queue at least half an hour before the show as it works on a first come 1st serve basis.
9. If like me, you are travelling with young children I would highly suggest caring along lots of snacks, drinks, water and simple activities to get you through the day. Queuing can be very boring for the little ones so I carried along little activity packs, playdough, slime and their figurines that we bought in Disney. We also had a phone handy with offline videos and this helped tremendously.
I hope you have found this helpful, if you have any further questions do drop me a comment in the comments section and I will be sure to answer it.

Reev
