This was my first Disneyland parade when I was little. Was born in 1997 and when I visited Disneyland in the early 2000.

I was 10 when this parade began. The biggest memory I have was being on the Alice in Wonderland ride, coming through the doors on the second level outside, and seeing Tarzan on his float as the parade passed by. He looked at me and waved, so I waved back. It was awesome, and something I'll never forget!

OMG, what beautiful memories, what a beautiful childhood, remember all those little moments of happiness, I still can't believe that too many years have passed since this parade in Disneyland California in 2000 (When I went I was 6 years old). Although this very young adult (does not matter) I will go to Disneyland I hope to go this 2020 / 2021.

now when young simba came out on his float which was a carrige pulled by giraffes he looked like a cross between a puppet and a costume character but he doesn't have a meet and greet that would be something to see but the only lion king meet and greets are timon and rafiki

You know, I didn't join the audience members and dance with one of the Disney stars in the Parade of the Stars at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California for all five years from 2000 to 2005, because of the 45th anniversary. My watch was broken, my guitar strings broke, my costume had winkles, and I didn't get any messages on my beeper! Well, I loved the Parade of the Stars, my favorite old parade, by the audience members along with the Disney stars from Fantasia, the Jungle Book, Fantasia 2000, Alice in Wonderland, the Rescuers, Pinocchio, Bambi, Song of the South, the Beach Party, the Three Little Pigs, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, the Country Bears, Winnie the Pooh, Mulan, the Lion King, a Bug's Life, Goof Troop, Robin Hood, Pocahontas and TaleSpin, right? Was that right? Well, I wished I could join the audience members and dance with one of the Disney stars in the Parade of the Stars for all five years at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California from 2000 to 2005, because of the 45th anniversary, too. I hoped you enjoyed those Disney Park Memories, okay? Jimmy Kielbasa out.

Thank you for sharing your footage of this parade. This was a great and fun parade that I watched with my girls. My name is Jerry Cornell owner of Theme Parkology and I am currently editing a documentary on Disneyland in the new millennium . I was wondering if I could use your footage? I would of course credit you and send you a free copy. Please email me at jerry@themeparkology.com.
