38 years and 4 Suicide Attempts later I'm still fighting my demons and addictions but I'm an Elder Millennial and will give the shirt off my back to anyone who needs it. On a plus note my Daughter's Birthday is on Father's Day this year so there's my Reason to Fight.

Every night, when I go to bed, I don't wanna wake up... the depression is a great demon to fight alone... thanks Disturbed for this song... 😢

I never had depression or suicidal thoughts. At least my depressions were always connected to bad events in life. And taking care of my body, spiritual practices and support from people helped me through tremendously. When others say about those who committed suicide due to severe depression that they were cowards, or fools trying to get attention makes me mad. We don't know what's going on in another person's soul. And the amount of people fighting with depression and mental illness is so huge it's disturbing. What's going on with people in this world? Anyway, great thanks to David and Disturbed for their support in tough times of fighting against the inner demons!

Becky, thank you for sharing this with us. It was hard to watch you react to it live, however, I'm glad that you did it. I shared this message with my friends. I can tell that your heart is open and I could see the emotion in you as you reacted and then proceeded to speak with chat about it. I'm deeply grateful to you for this. And thank you for the hug

What do you do when you ask for help and no one responds? When people instead distance themselves or abandon you

This is a heavy hitting song and performance. They had another one earlier in their career called Inside The Fire. It was written by David after his friend killed themselves and he thought about joining them. Just be aware, it is an extremely confronting film clip (original music video) and includes a spoken piece at the start telling people to get help if they need it.

You should listen to the entire song with the video as well. This video is amazing but the full impact of the song itself is lost in this.

I'm not trying to be important here. I was in the United States Army for just 5 years before being kicked out for losing my mind. I did do two combat tours in Iraq in the early 2000s. I struggled with alcohol and mental issues during and after the Army. After spending multiple times in the psychriatic hospital, it wasn't until 2018 when I spent a week in the intensive care unit again in a psychriatic hospital for alcohol withdrawal when they slipped me a medication that permanently blocks the affects of alcohol for ever. Yet I can never get intoxicated again and I don't agree with them for doing it without my consent, I feel much better about existence. For years being a functioning alcoholic and then being sober and experiencing existence clear minded, is much more fulfilling, I'll use that word, as I continue to live in this world and then finally die. But in the meantime time, I can truly enjoy a cup of herbal tea with honey and Becky. 😘

Sad...people.... prhhhh... I don't know what to say.someone hit that note i mean Disturbed. I don't understand if or whaterver people want to go to Beachy Head.obviously not for sightseeing.why governments can not help people in their misery if they have one.seems like noone cares.just think of Boris .... let it be Johnson....or his mate Michael Gove ...Cove .. anyway.... something like this..they definitely don't care.
