So, I just came over from fisherman’s life. Great video with lots of information. Born in Cali and raised in the PNW (now in Texas) and always found those shells on the beach with the holes in them. I never knew what animal they came from. Limpid. I wish my dad and grandpa were still here to let them know... I like your video. I broke my ankle in three places and dislocated it at the same time going fishing. Been sitting on the couch now for 5 weeks straight since surgery. I’m now a new subscriber. You brought back some old memories and I appreciate that. Take care, God bless. Jen

I've cleaned hundreds of gastropods in my life. Roasting, boiling or steaming one while allow you to pull out the meat with a pin. Just uncoil it as you pull the meat around the shell. They are NOT attched to their shell. It is the coil into the shell that holds it on.
