How about trying this if you haven’t already? Think about how much money you could save. What’s the absolute worst thing that could happen? Your plant dies? Prevention: 1. Make sure to press down firmly to get it solidly in the ground when you’re planting it. 2. Water a LOT and monitor for dropping (you can drench the hole with the plant in it before you close it up if it’s really hot and this can really help). 3. If the plants are tall, you might want to cut off the top half so it can focus its energy on establishing itself instead of keeping all of it alive. 4.If it’s hot with no rain, you may have to water twice a day after transplanting for a while. Some people prefer to divide during spring or fall because it is supposedly cooler but temperature fluctuations are nuts so I ignore that and not everyone has time during those seasons anyway.🌿
Make sure to wear solid shoes so you don’t hurt your feet.
