That was really cool Jamie and Liz. You should consider doing a piece for National Geographic. Since you got your new equipment, the photography has stepped up quite a few notches. That is not just due to the equipment, you have just simply gotten better and know how to make underwater pictures shine. Thank you for sharing.

Hi Jamie and Liz, fantastic underwater photography. Amazing entertainment. Some punch from the shrip, but 22 calibre LR goes about 1200 feet/second so, as fast as 75 is, still got a way to go to catch a 22.🤗
@followtheboat
2 жыл бұрын
Hi Chris. Thanks for the correction. I double checked and if the article I just found is the same one Liz used then the correct phrasing should have been the same 'acceleration' as a 22!

That narration was really something. Not many people can manage that without making a fool of themselves. Every single Australian TV presenter could learn something from this. I think it requires there to no ego involved, and a focus only on setting a mood and getting the point across.(but I'll never know😀)..

I recognize supporting the locals is an important part of cruising -and a Guide is certainly useful as you point out - However - just out of curiosity, is it legal to dive in the area without a local guide? If you had your own gear and a compressor could you dive on your own?
@followtheboat
2 жыл бұрын
I don't know about that, ut to be honest, I think you'd be very unpopular if you tried. And I don't think you'd find much. The local guide association works together to keep up to date with sightings. 🙏 Liz

Jamie here. Generally I don't think it would be too much of an issue, especially in the hard to get to spots around the world, but in this instance in Lembeh you could be treading on people's toes. It's not illegal though, so it's entirely up to you.
