Yes , these are the best I've ever had for all reasons.

They are pretty good for me too and absolutely unique from my experience as unfortunately here in Germany it's kinda impossible to get your hand on the Deepmount tips so this is basically the only option for more ball/C shaped tips^^

They are expensive but very good, I get a great seal and they are comfy for a few hours.

Aww such a bummer to hear that the pressure relief feature is actually a gimmick... was hoping these would help with the driver flex on some iems

Yeah... It could have worked I guess, if they would have cut the inside ring of the tip slightly too, but they didn't and therefore it always seals perfectly...

What is your favorite tips?

Very good question :-) Currently, I think the Liquid Silicone tips: they are comfortable, fit safely and isolate rather well. Also, they tend to bring up upper treble a bit more which helps with the detail perception (which I personally like), but could potentially introduce a slightly shimmery timbre. Of course, assuming you do not mean custom ear-tips count. If they do, then custom tips, they are basically perfect in terms of fit and isolation :-)

I've been binge watching your tips reviews. I got the Dunu S&S, they completely removed bass for me because I bought the M size (wrong size). I was going to order the L size, when I came across your channel and bought the Azla Xelastex instead. Currently my favourite eartips are the Spinfit CP145 in Medium. Just a feedback for the ranking spreadsheet, If you could incorporate the subjective feedback into the spreadsheet itself. (Potentially use ChatGPT to summarize your long review? With a good prompt to not miss out details) I feel like some details like you mention in your review are not fully translated in the effect on sound column in the sheet. Also an overall score for tips would be good. Thanks for the helpful reviews!

If you like cp145 try the w1 tips. Those are my favs. If you use m in 145 just buy a set of m w1.

Happy I can help :-) And thank you very much for your feedback, I appreciate it :-) I'll try to write the summary in the spreadsheet a bit longer so no details get lost. Will take a bit to finish that but I'll try to get this as good as possible!

@donspektor can you let me know which size of the Divinus Velvet is equivalent to Dunu S&S (M)? From the chart or table, Divinus Velvet (S) is also slightly larger than Dunu S&S (M). Thanks
@don_spektor
Ай бұрын
So first, this is not a straightforward "size of tip A equals size of tip B" due to the widely different tip shape. Yes, the Velvet are slightly larger than the S&S, but they are a bit shorter and tend to fit more naturally in your ear. If you like that though depends on the IEM you have it on: S&S has potential to work with short nozzles while Velvet tend to work on medium to longer nozzles. I'd say choose the Velvet more based on your usual tip size than based on the S&S as they are simply too different from each other.

I have 3 pairs of MS that I got for deep iems….turns out I don’t like them on my fan 2 and they don’t seal unless I have a super deep fitting iem. I can use M, ML and L though on any iem. For me these are pretty comfy and perfect for something like the tripowin Olina and iems that tend to be shorter nozzles. They seal and don’t slip out due to their texture and shape. Insert dirty joke.

Love these tips, they tend to smooth out the lower treble (or is it upper mids?)a bit too much at times though. I prefer the feaule h570 tips and spinfit w1 more so, but these are probably in 3rd.
@don_spektor

I have not heard about the H570 so far, need to find these too :-) The W1 are also on my list, but I hear the Omni simply are a bit better, so they are higher up on my priority list^^

@@don_spektor I prefer w1 over Omni, but they are close. I think w1 has a better staging effect though as it goes deeper.

@@Hijynx87 Ah good to know, so W1 definitively not for me, I'm not super keen on the deep insertion, that's why I use the CP360^^

@@don_spektor it’s a shame that they discontinued cp360, those were perfect tips for deep fitting iems and tws. Omni is a bit more finnicky, but once you get a seal it’s good. You probably won’t have issues with the smaller ones though.

@@Hijynx87 Oh what they discontinued the CP360 :(? Good I still bought a pair like a year ago, these work for me very well on most IEMs :)

So I usually use L eartips with about 13.8mm diameter. This one has ML at 13.2mm and L at 14.2, and the widest point is more to the front. Do you think I should get ML instead of L?
@don_spektor

Depends on the IEMs you plan to use them for? Longer nozzles with deeper insertion, better size down. Medium to shorter nozzles, better size up.
@linearch9424

@@don_spektor Hmm it's definitely not short but I don't think it's deep. How long is "long"? But yeah, sizing down means -0.6mm from my usual size, even though it's wider at the deeper part. Maybe the shape doesn't matter much, compared to that much size difference? Or does it?
@don_spektor
3 ай бұрын
@@linearch9424 Short is like 3-4mm, average about 5-6mm and long I'd describe everything longer than that. Keep in mind though, that the shell itself can also insert somewhat in your ear. Yeah, the shape shouldn't matter that much. For my ear-canal at least these sit pretty comfortably when compared to similar max. diameter tips.

those give a weighty fuller bass but also make the uppe rmids a bit more spicy in my experience. Also i dont like how they fit its like i feel them rubbing inside my ear .

I can not say anything about the upper mids, they seem to be pretty much unaffected according to the measurements and my ear. But depending on the IEM and it's driver setup, it could be possible that there's a change too. This I can understand. With e.g. the Buds 2 Pro I have that feeling too. But with most other IEMs that insert deeper not so much^^
