I’ve never seen this movie but I LOVE when a professional does commentary

That's because you have problems of forming your own opinion. Try to be less insecure about what others think about you.

Personally I don't think she did it on purpose, I think she just visited other lawyers. I think she says it early in the film, in the scene where Nora is recommended to her.

@@ethancooney3331 yeah or maybe shes subconciously doing it on purpose because shes not fully convinced yet if she should go thru with it.

I just found the answer for this! So when the lady gave ScarJo's character the phone number for Nora, ScarJo actually "no I met with a lot of them and didn't like any of them". So it wasn't spite or cunning, she just met with some and didn't like them so she gave up. Its interesting to see how things get flipped when they dont know the whole story hey?

I was wondering if I would ever find a video commentary on this film by an attorney.

Anthony Lai seems like a decent, fair person but ,it is outrageous what attorneys charge for something, logic dictates, you should be able to do yourself. This is why everything costs so much.

It's not *just* depressing, but it can be a hard watch at times. Especially for people who've experienced divorce as a spouse or child, it can dredge up bad memories.
