To be fair you didn't balayage your hair. You added a few highlights to your already balayaged hair. Not a bad job, but you should be a bit less misleading.

This is close to the technique used in salons where I'm from. It's a simplified version of the 'back-comb' used in Balayage, which uses a comb to brush the section of hair upwards and against the hair, raising random strands at various lengths to create that gradient effect. Very pretty. An easy at home version of the loreal kit that would yield you way more uses for a few bucks more is a value tub of hair bleach from Quick Light lightener and either 30 or 40 Vol creme developer. Mix equal parts to create a creamy paste and always separate in the way you usually do your hair. Then just grab your strand section MAKING SURE IT'S THIN ENOUGH TO COAT THE ENTIRETY OF IT in your lightening creme, and wait 30-45 minutes depending on how blonde you want to go. Remember, hair lightener only bleaches, or lifts hair color, but it doesn't tone it. You need a violet/blue/ash based toner or hair color that you can also pick up for a few dollars online, to counteract the red/orange tones your hair will have after the bleach/lightening treatment. A commonly used product that temporarily masks those brassy tones that can be used in a pinch is a 'Silver Shampoo'. Just make sure to peek into the bottle or make sure the contents are a bright violet/blue color. I'm tired of typing now. Hope this helps someone 💚

That's the thing, the answers no. Lmao Not that there is anything wrong with it, but it is artificial. The lips are the most obvious fake trait as you can easily spot it between natural and fake, of the same size. Like that Kylie chick, her lips were so thin they were barely noticeable when she was younger. Much like an English man. You can see the difference and how fake they are, especially without make up, they look swollen and the "line" is misplaced with the artificial fat tissue. So people like Angelina Jolie who have natural big lips have that fat build up in the right place. People like this woman and Kylie who have fake lips have that swollen appearance that you really notice when they talk. I can't tell if any other face surgery or procedure was done on her, but her nose does look like it had work too. But it may just naturally look that way. By that I mean that it doesn't match her traits. I'm an artist and I can spot these things because I had to learn how to draw faces and how to distinguish between traits based on things like race, age, and even location. Make up and contouring give her that face shape. It defines her cheek bones and lawline, which would not be prominant without makeup. Her brows are also very prominant. Extending beyond what her face would typically have. None of this means that she isn't naturally beautiful, she is. But not at all in the way we see here. Nothing wrong with it. I love makeup. But no, it isn't real. Beauty is paid for these days. Just look at Kylie before when after. Had she not been born into money, she would be today considered about a 4 on a scale from 1-10. Now look at her. But it took tons of procedures and artificial manipulations to get to where she is today. In a nutshell. Shouldn't she ever have children, they will look nothing like her.

I tried that box and nooope! if you have dark hair and used box dye this may not turn out the way you want. I used blondissima at the ends coated the bottom and used less as I worked upwards, you have to do a strand test to see if all the box dye it gone. then used a dark brown at roots and waited about 20 mins then slowly worked the dye down some, waited another 10 then added a light ash blonde/brown at the tips waited 15 mins n washed out and it turned out amazing!!!!

When we bleach our “dark” hair (any color below a “dark blonde/ level 7)to get it lighter, there will always be red/orange/brassy undertones . That’s what the process to lighten hair does. The darker your hair, the more “orange” it will be after bleaching. This product she uses, and any other hair colors that will make your hair lighter, is a “bleach/lightner”, so don’t expect the result to be the exact color you see on the box. It depends on the hair color you start with, if your hair is virgin or pre colored, the condition of the hair. If the result is too brassy, you need to tone the hair with a toner (demi permanent color- low % developer) to only correct the tone, not the level (ntensitity of pigments - how light or dark the hair is).

@@Danielle666LP Oui...Tri-State girl here, too. You'll pay around $1000 in a top salon. It's insane...

@NatalieValentina6
5 жыл бұрын
It's possible that you may not have developed the hair long enough. I have med.-to-dark brown neutral-toned hair; but whenever I highlight, the bleach turns my hair quite warm/brassy. You have to check the color when the developing time is done (use gloved fingers to squeegee-pinch the color off), & if it's too deep &/or excessively warm, let it develop 5-ish more mins. & check again. Some hair just needs a bit more time. Also make sure you're using enough product. If you have long or thick hair, buy 2 boxes of color. If the hair is the level of lightness you want, but STILL too warm, that's when you have to use a toning product to correct it. I recommend also using blonde-specific shampoos/conditioners, as well. The toner fades before I have to retouch my roots, so purple or "silver" toning-shampoo/conditioner/drops help, as do shampoos that don't strip the color out as fast. Try to wash less-frequently if you can, & deep condition/mask/oil treat (non-penetrating oil, e.g. sunflower, jojoba, grapeseed, or a purchased blend) often & for as long as you can. Olaplex is supposed to help the hair's integrity, too; but I haven't personally tried it yet. I hope this helps...Whether you highlight yourself or get it done professionally, it's an investment of $/time/aggravation, etc.., so it's always best to have as much info & tips as possible...

I love this so much I know your hair was already Balayage but this is a good example on how to start out especially for beginners. Even if you dont have Balayage hair prior thats ok, you can always achieve it by learning. Especially if your hair does not have any highlights, its a great canvas and start to begin with. I actually have been doing my hair on my own learning from my mother. Surprising as it is I got this down to a T just from a semi permanent highlighting box instead of the feria I have yet to try it out! I also have brunette hair as well and I tend to use semi permanent because it is less damaging in a way in my opinion. I use the Frost and glow highlighting kit or box..whatever lol. It does wonders to my hair, and if I want a lighter color through my mid section of my hair from top of my ear to the base of my neck I'll do it with this also which give this red bronze hugh-ish tinge which I love. As for my ends Ill bring this process to the ends and in a week or so I'll touch my ends for a lighter effect almost ombre rather then balayage if thats what you are going for. :)

I've used this bleach before and it's not too damaging,it actually needed to be a little stronger because my hair is almost black. My hair is super strong though.

maya we freak out because what you get in a box dye can completely damage your hair if you don't know what you're doing. There are different volumes of peroxide we have to use, different kinds of lighteners, the level of your hair and also the integrity of it. So many factors to consider and plan out when using bleach and colour. That's why professionals are professionals.. And doing it yourself at home is so risky hahah. Just saying.

What a fake video! she already got color on it and on top of that barely applied the thing... it looked like she was just trying to sell a product that we dont know if it actually works on someone w no color at all! fake!!!

if you have fine thin hair do not use this alone you are risking your hair ! do a test strand first. and sally's has a very good olaplex dupe to prevent further damage !

I used to cut my hair this way all the time. I was so picky about it that I just got to a point where I would trim it up myself since I knew what kind of layers I wanted and where.

If you left it in longer would it just be a little blonder? Like is this bleach or is it an actual color??? Thinking about trying it out.
