How does the tuning system work? Very clever. Please explain. Thanks

As the load changes so does the resonant frequency. This requires a PLL to lock on to it and feed back the right frequency to the power section. Some old guy on YT who made a similar system. The output of the PLL goes to a VCO which drives the Power driver (PD). The PD in this case must be a Full Bridge to drive the resonant circuit of the output coil. The PLL output is a low frequency level which will also drive a motor shaft that moves the core of the resonant inductor coil in order to change the frequency. So if anybody there wants to make this self adjusting heater then just make a block diagram to follow what I wrote. I cannot put drawings in this post. Once you make the block diagram you can also design the schematic for it. If you cannot design the schematic then it is no good if he gives you a copy because the system is too complicated for someone who does not have the skill to design the circuit.

nice description but not exactly what i made 1-its half bridge inverter 2-this topology as it called series-parallel ,has two seperate resonant frequency ,main pll tracks the paralell resonant ,another locking system sees the inverter phase diffrence and tune it with motor to have a correct power factor another advantage of this tunning system besids tracking the parallel resonant,is it can deviates from paralell resonant to have a prpoper matching its very helpful when you wanna melt steel becuase it needs very wide range frequncy to deliver the maximum power and as you said it can't be undrestood only via schematic it needs block diagram

ebay 20 amp 12-32 volt board: i figure resonance is from the 2 toroid inductors and the 2 .3 uF capacitors. the coil(not supplied) is the series resistance. I had trouble with the coil connecter smoking. I resoldered and retightened. I soldered joints that had resistance. I used a D cell for the coil form. 9 turns. A bit better still. Then I soldered the coil to the board. I put a 3/8 bolt in the coil on cardboard. After about several minutes the bolt was orange hot. I shut off the silicon valley power supply. The 1000 watt board(24 volts) might start to have problems. 2 capacitors is less resistance . ok demonstrator board. recheck capacitor - under load more?

Hi.im newbie in electronics and i have a question. Can we use all heaters as a melting device?or a heater can only be used for forging?

That's really great - thank you! By the way, how does one develop a 30KW power supply? It's not exactly 'house current'!

Impressive Tuning System, but showing results comparatively the same without the tuning, doesnt provide any good information. This presentation should include how the tuning circuit provides advanced performance above other induction systems.
