I have been wanting one of these since the ES120 several years back and I finally bought an ES15 now that I have disposable income (and your review video helped me pull the trigger on it.) @@philiptexter1789 what's a water bear? Also I've printed many useful prints you just have to design them yourself, phone stands, calipers, car parts that don't exist anymore or at least in very low volumes, hinges for different things around the house, clips, bowl piece holders that usually go for 25$ on Amazon, shelves and other display pieces, gears, etc. my question is how tf is a little RGB light tube useful whatsoever? It's purely used for aesthetics which doesn't add use to anything, you could improve this by maybe adapting it to fit onto a 3d printer that doesn't have a light and boom it's actually useful and still looks cool.

@@Vector3DP depending on the parts used you would be correct, however I've had individual 5050's that run at nearly 80*c, which is actually enough to start a flash fire after a while. It is well worthwhile noting the fact that without a heatsink (in this case pcb) LED's can enter into thermal runaway, not everyone playing with LED's know this stuff, especially in the fresh maker field. Also, LED's run hotter in hot climates, which I am in.

@@Vector3DP Oh, that's better than I expected. I've read in many places that insufficient cooling will kill LEDs pretty quickly and putting them in a plastic tube with little cooling sounded iffy. And why would I run them at full power? If I was using these they'd be periodically used as a main source of light in a room (I am lazy) or during daylight hours. And I feel that room lights requiring training to use might be an issue in a design - if you decided to share the design/gift a lamp like this to someone. Also, I apologize for my passive aggressive comment, I didn't expect you to read the comments - it was more directed to other commenters and being blunt seems to work better in those cases.
