The traditional way of weaving corn husk can be slightly improved by adding just one element. Weaving is neat and fast. A napkin-mat is very practical in everyday life, and weaving from natural materials brings us closer to nature, because such things store the energy of the sun and the area where the plant grew. We have corn growing everywhere, in almost every yard, so the raw materials for weaving are very affordable. I prefer to harvest talash (corn husk) - the light-coloured leaves surrounding the head- in autumn, when the corn is dry (although many also use fresh corn). I still have a small supply of corn husks, so I decided to show how you can weave if you don’t have enough corn husk.
