Like this product formulation, as I have all ingredients on hand except the preservative you used. Wondering if Germall Plus would work just as well. I know GP usage rate is 1-5%. Is there anything special abut the preservative you used to this formulation where GP shouldn't be used in place of the one you used?

I was just about to research ideas for an exfoliating facial cleanser so this is right on time. Thanks for sharing!!!! Do you think guar gum could work instead of the Xanthan gum?
@YayaDIYCreations
4 жыл бұрын
You are very welcome! The cosmetic grade GuarCat would probably be cloudy. It also does not work too well with surfactant systems because it has conditioning properties. It would work best with conditioners, lotions, creams, etc. I do not recommend the food grade guar gum. It goes rancid fast and is hard to preserve. It will also be very cloudy. Hope this helps 💜
