Alright, I've put together a tutorial on how to replace the angle gear sleeve (Volvo 9495034) in this video. While it may seem straightforward in the video, and it likely is for many, I had to struggle a bit. Previously, when I've done this, the cars I worked on had less rust on their undersides. The driveshaft comes off easiest after removing the bolts; you can do this by inserting an M8 bolt into an unused threadless hole on the flange side of the angle gear and tapping the driveshaft flange to release it from the housing. There are indeed 5 bolts with 13mm heads on the angle gear, and inside the bushing, there's a seal (Volvo 6843112), while on the outside, there's another seal (Volvo 8636194). Behind the bushing, there's gearbox oil.
Note that the bushing may vary depending on the year and transmission, so this was specifically for the V70 2.5T AW50/51AWD automatic (00-07)
