What a cutie. Ok that flap on the trouser is call a “Hosntürl” or little door to the trousers. May I suggest the addition of a feather to the hat to enhance the traditional look you have worked so hard to achieve. The larger the feather, the wealthier the wearer. 😉

Oh Patty, you totally outdone yourself on this gnome!!!!! I absolutely LOVE IT!!!! Can I ask a favor of you? Sometime would you consider making a State Trooper Gnome? My son is a State Trooper and I was talking to some of the other Troopers family and told them how I'd love to make my son a Trooper Gnome and they're as excited as I am about making one. We've been trying to check around how to go about making one and none of us have had any luck with it. As good as you are I feel you're a great person to ask. I'd really appreciate it. Oh Patti you're just the BEST!!! I can't wait to tell the other ladies wanting to learn. Ok my son works for the Tennessee Highway Patrol. I can send you a picture I recently took of him in his uniform if it would be helpful. I'd just need to know where to send it (or them). I actually wanted the pictures as a surprise (without telling him why I wanted the pictures) in hopes of trying to figure out how to (and as a pattern) make and learn how to make him a Gnome. For starters..I LOVE all your videos..I am still trying HARD to learn how to make them..NOT giving up. lol. I know this one has clay/molded hands. But I noticed that on some of your gnomes, they are beads. What size of beads are they? I went to some of those videos and the link that you have for those beads is no longer available. I am bound and determined that I AM going to learn how to make these..lol. I have bought almost everything I need to do these...buying a little here and there..not easy on a fixed income. Again, thank you soooo much for sharing your patterns with us...and showing us how to make them.

I meant to ask what was the clear square that you stuck the stamp to?? I love learning about the new tools that you share with us. My favorite is still the miter cutter. You were right about the hair noodles from Amazon. They don't melt at all. I always look forward to learn new things from you.

It's an acrylic stamp block. You can get them at Walmart. I have had mine for years. They make them now with a grid on them to help you line up your stamps. Thanks, Patti

It is a pool noodle. In the US we get them at Dollar Tree. You can get them on Amazon. You can also use pipe insulation. I am using one that is 2.25" in diamater. Thanks, Patti

This is a different hat than the one in the pic. How did you make the rounded top to the hat in the post please. I’m finding it difficult to make the rounded top on a hat and clicked on your vlog due to the picture looking rounded.

Sheila, It is the same hat as I did in the video, I only made one. It is just tilted back and you are only seeing the top edge. If you want a rounded top on a hat, don't add the cardboard to the top and make the top just a little larger. Thanks, Patti

You may start by covering a half fillable ornament and heating up some craft foam and form fit it. I have done that before.
