This might be abad idea because the pebbles dont have enough surface area ontop of no thinset motor to hold the pebbels themself.Seal the pebbles first. And when grouting pebbles turn the sponge vertically so you're wiping with the long side N&S.You'll have more controll of even grout lines/reveal and it's easier.You want to wipe out a little more grout and exspose more of the rock with pebble tile .Gj it looks great!

You can use it in a bathroom. You would want to use a waterproof substrate and use Silicon as adhesive. Just like you would put tiles or a mosaic. There are a bunch of tutorials on Utube..
@christinelee3472
Жыл бұрын
It won’t collapse right away because this wasn’t installed in the bathroom or sauna. But what will happen over time is the grout will start to crack. Even a hairline crack can let moisture in and that will cause the separation of the wall substrate and the pebbles. This would normally take 5-10 years or more. If you want to redo or want to get this done at another location, use a premixed mortar. If you really want it to stick forever, install cement board over the drywall, then use thinset mortar.
