In this short video we walk through a repair of broken feet on the blackstone and replace them with leveling feet to help keep the griddle even on any terrain.
We initially bought just the leveling feet thinking this would be great for the blackstone to level it on uneven surfaces. And it worked... for a short while, but that put stress on the nuts attached to the bottom plate and they shortly broke off. So this is a full fix to that problem and I'm pretty sure it's going to last this time!
Here are a few links to the parts I used on Amazon. Honestly you can probably do this with stuff you have at home or go to the hardware store which will probably be cheaper. If you do buy from Amazon take note that we are affiliates and these links will earn us a small commission while not costing you any more.
Leveling feet: amzn.to/3R0cLtR - These work well and fit into the existing Blackstone nuts.
Steel blank to make for the supports: amzn.to/47xGBx9 - ( note this is overkill, but it was the right approximate size so I used it. You can probably find something easier to work with )
#10 lock washers: amzn.to/47VuQjD
#10/24 nuts: amzn.to/3sT6Z5t - you will have a ton of extras
#10/24 screws: amzn.to/3RlLG5H - again you will have a ton of extras
Tap handle: amzn.to/3uAW7tw - I used one from a kit, but this is a decent budget handle
M8x1.25 Tap: amzn.to/47CTnu2 - I used one from a kit, but I have used this tap in other sizes before and it is decent
7/32 Drill bit: amzn.to/3RjXHc3 - I didn't use this one but I have used these and they are decent
17/64 Drill bit: amzn.to/411lWii - This is for the tapped M8x1.25, its a different bit than I used but I have used this style before and they work well.
Other tools you will either have or can easily source just about anywhere, including amazon.
