GREAT IDEA, I usually brush my paint on, and you have to read the package the gauze comes in , to make sure you get the right type, that would work good for a ARTILLERY DIORAMA… you got my like CHRIS from OHIO 🇺🇸

I did the same thing for 1/16 for my Sherman tank. You can buy large gauze ( double the size of the small roll in the video). Or you can use some cheese cloth sheets and cut it the way you want.

Whats the idea behind to use PVA glue together with paints?

Instead of painting, the glue seal the process and act as a kind of primer. The paint mix with it is the color of your choice
