Hi and thanks, I to want to finish the project 😂 And I plan to use the tb6600 hoocked up to the ramps 1.4 controller 👍 a4988's are a bit weak for the Nema23's

Awesome work! 😃 How much weight are you putting on that X-axis arm? I was thinking maybe ut needs some more support but maybe not. Looking forward to see more of this 3d printer :-)

Thanks, on the arm I'm going to have the extruder and maybe a clay container, althou the container might be hanging on its own with a tube down to the extruder, not entirly sure on that design yet 👍

Wow! Súper good job! One question, what parameters have you used for cutting the aluminum plate? Speed, rpm and depth of pass. How many time has taken that cut? Thanks a lot Willy!

Hi and thanks :) My diy cnc in made mostly out of soft wood so I had to take it real slow. I also used a 4 flute upcut, 8mm diameter tool that worked good. I tried a 2 flute tool once but that was a disaster 🤣 As for feeds and speeds it was slow, 300 mm/min and 0.5 mm depth per pass. And it works, but takes some time

@@WillysGarageNorway ( plainsmanclays.com/data/index.php?product=12881 ) . That's a clay I know which works. We used that one in our university, its a bit expensive but it works like a charm. But if you want to formulate your own clay from raw materials check ( digitalfire.com/home ). Here you'll find basic recipes for most type of clay recipes.
