Great video. If you add two of the small blocks that hold the posts to the middle, you can use single post on the middle to mount a center mass steel Target. Essentially a modular target stand.

Sorry for the very late reply, but this is a great tip and certainly a mod I will add to these stands. Glad you enjoyed and I appreciate you watching!

Successfully made one of these yesterday with added slot for center steel target post. Cost from Lowe's was closer to $30. Needed three 8ft 2x4's, at almost 9$ a piece..... as well as the necessary screws. Not sure how you made these for $10 per target.

This was back in 2017-18 when lumber was cheap lol. 2-3 bucks a 2x4. $9 a stud is insane, still under $8 here but not by much…

@@taterbuzz Makes sense. I took the stand out today and tested the center post with my steel target hanging from a hook and I'll have to find a better way to do this as the first shot knocked the entire target stand over and the second shot knocked the target off of the hook. After that I just switched back to shooting paper targets. Granted this is .308 at a little over 50 yards. I guess a sandbag or other weight on the stand will help with preventing it from knocking over but I'll have to experiment with some other hanging methods to keep the steel on the hook.

They're called target pasters, you can get them on amazon, brownells, and a few other places online
