This was a fantastic tutorial. Thank you for not giving a 20 min intro and keeping it short and sweet!

and if you rub it down at the end with some soft wire wool to bring out the shine then spray with some clear lacquer the copper won't tarnish.

I wonder, before applying the laquer, how about cleaning the copper with barkeepers friend to restore the shine and beauty of the copper.

Great video. Thinking of doing my whole closet with copper pipe, but instead of epoxy, I would sweat the pipes together....not sure, just may be a little easier since I have a torch and solder. Also, i am planning on coloring the copper with the torch for a kind of unique look. In any case, thanks for making the video and gettin those hands dirty. How is the rack holding up? Is the copper pipe bending at all due to the weight of the clothes? I was looking at using black pipe, it's a lot stronger since it's steel, but the ends are all threaded which presents some challenging dilemmas and more precise measurements. I did do a big wall mount for my TV with black pipe and it turned out pretty cool. Again, great video and how's the IT career going?

lam6gun thanks for the feedback, I gave the rack away but for the time I had it, it never bent or anything. Careers going good thankfully 😊

So beautiful ❤️ love it.... question.... would I be able to get this color in spray paint if I was to use PVC pipes
@TheAdetomi

You probably could but the paint would probably eventually get scratched up from hangers sliding across it

No wonder that video has so many likes! I want to make this to take to the markets. Do you think it would be okay to leave the glue from a few joints for packing and reassembly?
@TheAdetomi
5 жыл бұрын
Of course! And maybe include a tube of epoxy for customers so they can put it together when they get home

Oh! Yeah of course it would work. The thicker the pipe the sturdier it will be

@TheAdetomi

Thanks! I actually gave it away a few months after I made it so I’m not sure how it held up. I never hung a lot of clothes on it myself. But I believe the thicker the bar the stronger it is. Hope this helps
